It was FANTASTIC time in Sorrento. We appreciated rooms and food at this venue. The bed was lovely and it was great having a mini-fridge-bar, a private safe and a study table. It's located in a coastal area.
-
It suited the needs and we can't wait to come back. Great location, pretty views, considerate staff. We truly enjoyed having a terrace. A good choice of lovely food in the restaurant.
-
Perfect location - not in the noisy center, right on the rock above the sea with the lift access to the beach/platform and at the same time maximum 10 minutes walking distance from the cultural and shopping attractions. Quiet and not fuzzy in the relaxation areas ( pool, beach, bars). Could be noisy if the windows would face the street - perfect if facing the pool or the sea.
Very uncomfortable bath tub - narrow and slippery, even with the rubber carpet. Poor shower.Good breakfast, though too much the same - if you stay there longer than 3 days you hate eating the same omlet and yoghurt every day.

Each member of staff was highly attentive. Beautiful reception rooms. Breathtaking views. Very comfortable rooms with sea views. Very good quality food.
There were no tea/coffee making facilities in bedrooms. There was no iron and/or ironing board in bedrooms.

Location In Sorrento is quiet and private. Absolutely beautiful. The staff are warm and attentive and the service is outstanding. The hotel grounds pool beach and restaurant are gorgeous. The views of the bay and sunsets are fantastic. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to return.
The en suite bathrooms are a bit dated. And although fairly standard in Europe, two twin/double beds pushed together don't really equal a true king/queen bed.

It was grand and beautiful. The rooms were pretty and the view of the Bay of Naples was wonderful
We found the staff not very friendly and had an attitude. at the front desk. Breakfast was good but the surcharges for dining otherwise was unreasonable and therefore we choose to eat our lunch and dinners elsewhere.

The hotel staff furnished us some totally false and misleading information about a Rail Europe Strike on Monday October 28th 2012 forcing us to leave because we had First Class Reservations on the train that day. When we arrived at the Train Station a day early they advised us the information we received from Hotel was false and Rail Europe would not honor our tickets a day early. We had to purchase new tickets and lost 100% value of our current tickets. No one at the Hotel could care any less. Our first and last trip to this so called " First Class Hotel". You would think they would get their facts straight before passing it out to their customers.

Location
Over priced. Slow, poor & very expensive laundry service. Would not provide the use of an Iron/board for guests own use?
-
Everything, the location, the staff, the rooms and excellent service.

We had a wonderful experience at your grand hotel. My family visited many places in Italy on our two week trip and we loved sorrento very much and mostly due to your hotel, staff, and location. Thanks for such great memories and if we come back to Italy we will stay with you again. The Velotta family

This hotel is beautiful ,friendly, clean and has everything you want and more. The view was beautiful , the Breakfasts was the best we had in Italy The staff were helpful and friendly .Pure luxury and only a short walk to town.I Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
-
Friendly, helpful but not overbearing nor intrusive staff. Location was excellent, just on the edge of the town centre but within 6 minutes walking distance.
-
We enjoyed the location, the price and the beauty of the hotel. It was a convenient walk from everything and had spectacular views. The room were elegant. The staff was exceptional from the front desk to the dining room. We had a garden view room with a partial ocean view that was great from our balcony! Would certainly stay again!
The configuration of the floor of the tub when showering was a little awkward.
-
Our room has a small balcony with spectacular view of the sea. The room was very comfortable and away from the traffic noise.
Great location, amazing view of the sea. Helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel was spotless and in perfect condition... The staff were amazing and the service spectacular
The scrambled eggs were a little runny!
